I enjoy a travel mug of coffee each day when I wake up either in the a.m or p.m depending on my schedule, don't judge me haha. I own one of those one cup coffee makers from Black & Decker. I actually prefer that my coffee maker makes the coffee directly into a travel mug. Keeps my coffee hot longer than it would in a regular ol' cup.
Step one.. I grab the reusable filter basket and walk upstairs and empty the coffee grains from the previous cup of coffee into the garbage.
Step two.. I rinse off the basket under the water faucet and set it aside.
Step three.. locate my travel mug. Usually on the computer desk. Rinse and clean the mug and cover and then fill to the brim with cold water as much as insanely possible because every drop of coffee counts. LOL. Now saying that I then put the cover back onto the travel mug and ensure that there is water overflowing through the sipping hole, if that's what you would call that hole, into the travel mug cover because to compensate for evaporation. Every drop of coffee counts. :)
Step four.. Grab reusable filter basket and the insanely full to the brim travel mug and walk back downstairs to my coffee making station.
Step five.. Flip open the top of the one cup coffee making machine and empty the water into the machine. I first empty some of the water with the cover still attached to the travel mug through the sipping hole just so I don't miss any of that extra water in the cover. Remove the cover and then empty the rest.
Step six.. Grab my coffee can of grains, usually dark roast, scoop out one heaping scoop of coffee grains and deposit into the reusable filter. The smell of coffee grains to start the day Priceless. Place the filter where it goes in the coffee machine and flip down the coffee machines cover.
Step seven.. Grab two or three sugar cubes, depending how I feel, not quite sweet enough it's a three cube day ayee.. I usually alternate my cubes too.. box to box either brown sugar cubes for a box then switch to white for the next box. I used to use honey but that gets expensive - insert hash tag here #nativeactorlife - Insert sugar cubes into travel mug.
Step eight.. Place travel mug, containing two or three brown or white sugar cubes, in the appropriate place of the coffee machine.
Step nine.. Press the button and wait.. But if I feel like going back upstairs to make my breakfast of the day I'll do so at this time.
Step ten.. When the last coffee drop has dripped I then remove travel mug and stir the coffee and sugar usually not long because most of the sugar has already disintegrated.
Step eleven.. ok one more step I was trying to keep it at ten but the eleventh step is to place the cover back onto the travel mug. VoilĂ !
There you have it my steps to a cup of coffee each day at home.
Thank You for reading and by the way this is my very first ever blog post.
Cheers,

That's a lot of steps for a cup of coffee. But if you love coffee it's worth it!
